No matter how tech-savvy we may think we are, there is no doubt going to be one aspect of technology that completely stumps you. Even all of you geeks out there; I’m sure you have found yourself scratching your head when it comes to something like coding your blog or setting up a new computer network. Thankfully, though, you don’t need to struggle for too long. There are plenty of places you can turn to for tech help and advice. Here are some of the first places you should check out.

Tech Blogs

If you already follow some tech blogs, you will know that they can be filled with lots of handy tips and guides to various aspects of tech. This is because many tech bloggers write their posts with the aim of educating people. For instance, there might be posts that guide you through setting up your very own website step by step. Some posts might also take you through how to fix your laptop if it has a virus. If you can’t find an answer to your particular problem on a tech blog, you should take a look at the discussion in the comments. Often, readers post their own queries and questions in the comments hoping that someone can answer them. You never know, your question might be already answered there!

Training Classes

If you want to brush up on your general tech skills, you might like the idea of signing up for some tech courses. There are many night schools that now offer various training courses, some of which will even provide you with a qualification once you complete the course. You will be able to find classes that are specific to certain tools and software, such as Training Connections Captivate classes. Alternatively, just register for a basic IT course if you want to cover a wide range of skills and knowledge.

Knowledgeable Friends

If you ever experience any problems or issues with your tech appliances and devices, you could always ask a tech-savvy friend to take a look for you. Do you work in a company that has an IT department? Well, I’m sure someone who works in the department will be more than happy to take a look at things for you. If not, you might have a friend or relative who knows a thing or two about tech. Another positive about knowing people who have a good tech-based knowledge is that you can always ask them for recommendations when it is time to upgrade your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Google

Still completely stumped with a problem? You could always just try Googling for an answer! You never know, someone else might have had the exact same issue as you and might have posted about it on a message board or under a blog post in the comments. You never know what you may find when you search on Google, so this is always worth a shot!

Hopefully, this puts an end to all your tech issues!
